Juhuu, der Frühling ist im Anmarsch und endlich sprießen die ersten Knospen. Eine davon ist Natasha Khan alias Bat For Lashes, die am 6. April ihr neues Album "Two Suns" veröffentlichen wird.
Der Albumtitel steht der Sängerin zufolge für die Duallität und Zwiespältigkeit des Lebens und der Persönlichkeit. Die Platte hat die Engländerin quasi in Eingenregie produziert. Einige Beats wurden von den Yessayer beigesteuert. Für die erste Singleauskopplung "Daniel" gibt's bereits eine erste visuelle Kostprobe: In the video for her new single, "Daniel," Natasha Khan (aka Bat for Lashes) plays the part of a Little Red Riding Hood who isn't trying to fight off ending up in a wolf's lower intestine, but instead trying to escape some modern dancers who want to dance abstractly around her. The video climaxes when Khan starts driving in the car from National Lampoon's Vacation and meets up with a stand-in for Daniel from The Karate Kid (whoa, '80s).
